Requirements Engineering

Which requirements should a product ultimately meet? This is one of the first questions that needs to be addressed to develop superior products and is part of the Requirements Engineering. Requirements Engineering also includes documenting, reviewing, and managing requirements. Unfortunately, obvious requirements are sometimes overlooked and neglected during business analysis, resulting in timely or costly errors further in the development process. In cases, in which those errors are not identified, the introduction of the product into the market often fails. As a link between IT and business side, it is of particular concern to axxessio to enable smooth communication between all project members and stakeholders. Our experts are always up to date and IREB-certified – in CPRE and RE@Agile.

With the "Sparbillette", passengers on the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) save money booking their train ticket. It aims to redirect customers to trains with a low number of passengers by offering incentive discounts. axxessio's task during the project was to adapt the service better to the customer's needs, thus increasing its attractiveness and sales figures. To this end, various functions were added to the Sparbillette, such as the inclusion of transfer connections within Swiss long-distance traffic, transparent pricing through allocation of individual train sections and staggered discounting (according to the motto: "The sooner, the better!"). axxessio facilitated the communication between the SBB specialists and technology experts, and was responsible for requirements and test management. The product has now been actively used for the last 10 years and continues to be developed.

The networking of the world and the associated automated exchange of information between a wide variety of devices offer IT-led companies the potential to optimize their core competency and expand it with new possibilities. We believe that the "Connected Things" will soon not only provide raw data, but already refined information. Ultimately, this means that these things (people, information, processes and devices) will soon be inextricably linked. In this respect, the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Internet of Everything (IoE) will influence all areas of life. We call this the networking of the world.

„Hallo Magenta“ is the magic word that breathe life into the new smart speaker from Deutsche Telekom - Europe's first intelligent speaker. As a longstanding partner and service provider of Deutsche Telekom AG, a team from axxessio actively supported the implementation of the product. With the Smart Speaker you can not only control telecom services such as MagentaTV or Magenta SmartHome via voice recognition, but also play music by shouting, make shopping and to-do lists without pen and paper, dial phone calls with your voice and much more! Data protection is a top priority for the voice assistant: data is only processed within the European Union; namely under the high data protection guidelines of Deutsche Telekom. The Smart Speaker is available on site in the electronics store and online.
